Tinariwen – Tassili (2011)

Madison Music Review has been fans of Tinariwen’s Touareg guitar grooves for a while now. Well, they’re back with a new release called Tassili which drops on August 30, 2011. Tassili ventures out and looks to add some Western spice to the mix by including The Dirty Dozen Brass Band‘s horns, Wilco‘s Nels Cline and TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone whom all make guest appearances on Tassili.  Be sure to check them out on tour, they are an amazing act to catch live; they will be at Metro in Chicago on November 25.
