TESS PARKS & ANTON NEWCOMBE- ‘FRIENDLIES’ Video

Tess Parks, the girl with the authentically psychedelic sound, has been busy creating a record that is about to launch her firmly off the ground. Last year Parks collaborated with the legendary Brian Jonestown Massacre frontman, Anton Newcombe to produce Friendlies’. It is a seductive track, with guitar-heavy production and a sensual, skittering percussion will no doubt bring to mind artists such as Patti Smith and The Velvet Underground. The song is the second release from the upcoming album, ‘I Declare Nothing’ a name created from an Oscar Wilde quote.

Parks and Newcombe met through their mutual friend, iconic talent manager and record label owner, Alan McGee, who was responsible for signing Oasis and the Jesus and Mary Chain, and later, signed Tess Parks to his newest label 359 Music.

Tess Parks and Anton Newcombe’s album, ‘I Declare Nothing’ is released June 29. They will be performing several dates in the UK as part of their album tour, commencing July 6.
