Bob Weir and Ratdog
March 22, 2008 at The Riverside Theater, Milwaukee - by Ankur Malhotra

Mr. Bill and I hit the road this Saturday afternoon to head to Milwaukee for the much anticipated Bob Weir and Ratdog show - the second on their Spring Tour. We met up with Mr. Bill's brother (another longtime Deadhead and Bobweir/Ratdog fan) and his wife, who drove in from Chicago for the show, and had a delicious Thai dinner at 'The King and I' before ambling over to The Riverside. This was my first time at The Riverside and I was awed by the georgeous ceilings, ornate balconies and the tapestries that decorate this theater.

Come 8:15 and the band took to stage, tuning their way into Feel Like A Stranger followed by Casey Jones that had the crowd cheering and singing along with the band. One of the highlights of the show for me was to see Mark Karan back on stage and in fine form, especially on Little Red Rooster, the blues classic penned by the legendary Howling Wolf. All in all, Mr. Bob Weir and the Ratdog gang put up a fine performance One More Saturday Night. - Ankur
