Benefit show at The Majestic: Chris Trapper performs for the Joel
Marino Memorial Fund

Sunday April 13th, 2008 at The Majestic Theater - Doors open at 6 PM, show at 7 PM

Joel Marino was the young man tragically murdered in his home on Monona Bay 1/28/08. Joel had a passion for the Madison community, music, and helping patients through his work with Boston Scientific (a medical device manufacturer). The memorial fund has been established to support environmental efforts, music scholarships, and the use of AEDs (automated external defibrillators) to save lives in Wisconsin communities. All proceeds from the concert will go to this fund. Tickets at the door will be $10, with an option to donate more if desired. More info on Joel at JoelMarino.com.

Singer, songwriter Chris Trapper, frontman of the Push Stars, a band out of Boston, will be performing. The Push Stars have made 5 studio CDs, and have toured with Matchbox Twenty. He is now pursuing a solo career and currently has five solo discs out. While under appreciated, he has gained more acclaim penning songs for movies and television. Don't miss this special appearance at the Majestic to help honor Joel's life.
