The dubstep invasion is here! Bassnectar is hitting Madison on a Friday night. This tour is not playing Chicago, or Minneapolis, or Milwaukee. It’s pretty safe to say that this could very will be the biggest rager that has ever hit this city.
The party is now at Exhibtion Hall at Alliant Energy Center. Not inside the Coliseum, but next door at Exhibition Hall, where there there is a ginormous open floor, perfect for getting down and dirty. There will be no wristband floor restrictions. Beer served on the main floor. Bassnectar’s full production will be there, and plenty-o-bass!
All tickets purchased for the Orpheum will be honored at the door at Exhibition Hall. There will be round trip bus transportation from in front of Memorial Union to the venue and back, starting at 5pm.

By combining sound and force with weight, the Bassnectar experience engulfs the senses. It is as physical as it is auditory; the adventure has no rules, no limitations, and no hesitation in fusing the familiar with the strange or the classic with the cutting edge.
Bassnectar is the brainchild of Lorin Ashton, and it exists as an open-sourced musical project that is as diverse as it is heavy, as raw as it is meticulous, and as fierce as it is imaginary. Spanning the spectrum of sonic style, the music covers every genre imaginable and smashes it all into a synthesis of intense, wobbling basslines and hypnotic soundscapes.
