Choro is a traditional 100 year old Brazilian music that gave rise to Samba and Bossa Nova. Choro das 3 is a Brazilian instrumental group of three sisters and their father that first started to play as a band in 2003. Corina, 25, plays flute and piccolo. Lia, 22, plays 7-string guitar. Elisa, 19, plays mandolin, banjo, clarinet and piano. Their father, Eduardo, plays pandeiro (Brazilian tambourine).
The group is on a coast-to-coast US tour this summer and make a special acoustic (and unplugged perhaps!) performance at Dobhan..
