I attended the sold out Dave Rawlings Machine show on Monday and I walked away from this performance in a daze. It was an amazing experience to witness this performance by these artists in such an intimate venue. Dave Rawlings and his long time musical partner Gillian Welch were backed up by 3/5 (Secor, Watson and Jahnig) of the talented Old Crow Medicine Show. They pulled out many amazing covers. One standout was a Dylan/Dead medley featuring Dear Landlord >Candyman >Dear Landlord. The show ended with the second encore (a capella) version of Didn’t Leave Nobody But The Babywhich had been a stand out track from O Brother, Where Art Thou.
