Review: Drive-By Truckers w/ Those Darlins @ The Majestic Theater, October 23, 2011

The Drive-By Truckers made their way back into Madison last night as part of their Fall Tour.  Patterson Hood aptly stated (as he walked on stage) that “we’re going to send this one out to Scott Brown and all them other assholes; welcome to the occupation” and then launched into a fierce rendition of “Puttin’ People on the Moon”.

DBT brought along three rip-roaring gals and a guy to open the show this time around. The Tennessee country-punk foursome, Those Darlins put on a rousing opening show, blending classic country and punk with a touch of sexy rock and roll swagger to boot.
