Listen to Growing – their new CD streaming now

Growing will be playing at Project Lodge on Friday, April 16th…

They’ve just released their new album PUMPS! and are streaming it in its entirety at Spinner.com now through Saturday (4.10.2010).

Currently based in Brooklyn, Growing was founded in 2001 by Kevin Doria (electric bass guitar) and Joe Denardo (electric guitar).  Last year they added Sadie Laska (samplers, microphone) to form a new trio.

I’ve been a fan of ambient music in all its diversity for many years. This band is new on my radar, but I’m quite looking forward to watching/listening to their performance at the Lodge.
