ICEAGE – Sun., June 21, 2015 – High Noon Saloon

Iceage is a young punk band from Denmark, and a couple years ago none other than Iggy Pop expressed his appreciation for the band calling them “the only current punk band I can think of that sounds really dangerous.”

Their recently-released third album – Plowing Into The Field Of Love – represents a departure from their prior recordings: offering longer songs, more dynamic range and varied instrumentation.  Some people have likened lead singer Elias Bender Rønnenfelt’s voice to Nick Cave… I guess I just did too.

If you miss them at High Noon, they will also playing the Pitchfork Music Festival in July.   But don’t do that.  It’s a much longer drive home.
