Marilyn Manson’s “The Hell Not Hallelujah Tour” Coming to Madison

Marilyn Manson is touring behind his recently released, ninth studio album – THE PALE EMPEROR. They will be performing in Madison at the Orpheum Theater on Tuesday, May 12th.

Marilyn Manson has sold over 50 million records. In the U.S. alone, three of the band’s albums have been awarded platinum and three more went gold, and the band has had eight releases debut in the top ten, including two number-one albums.

Manson has also been ranked number 44 in the Top 100 Heavy Metal Vocalists by Hit Parader. Marilyn Manson’s musical persona has been heavily influenced by shock rockers such as Alice Cooper, The Doors, Black Sabbath, Kiss and Iggy Pop. But he admits that his biggest influence came later from the glam rock of David Bowie, whose ability to shape shift from one style and musical philosophy to another he emulates.
