Pieta Brown (opens for John Prine) – Fri., September 17, 2010 – Overture Center For the Arts

Pieta Brown will be returning to Madison on Friday, September 17th, opening for John Prine at the Overture Center. She is currently on tour supporting her new Americana-charting album One and All, which has received rave reviews from All Music Guide, No Depression and the Boston Herald which called it "an early contender for folk/Americana album of the year."

Grammy winner John Prine brings his band to Overture Hall for an intimate concert as part of a once-in-a-lifetime, four-stop Wisconsin tour. Prine won a Grammy in 2006 for his album Fair and Square. His upcoming live album, In Person and Onstage, is slated for a May 25 release. To celebrate this release, John will tour again and offer the live music fan a chance to catch this great American storyteller at the peak of his formidable powers.
