RYLEY WALKER w. CIRCUIT DES YEUX – Thu., September 29, 2016 – The Frequency – Madison, WI

Ryley Walker is the headliner and we certainly look forward to hearing his performance. He just released a new album last month – Golden Sings That Have Been Sung.

But I am also greatly intrigued by opener Haley Fohr, performing as Circuit des Yeux. Haley Fohr’s striking voice, an impassioned baritone, is the music’s centerpiece and guiding force. As Circuit des Yeux she creates music that embodies the complexity of human emotions, juxtaposing tenderness and grief, ecstasy and horror. Check out this performance at the 2016 Pitchfork Music Festival. It gives me goosebumps.
