Steez @ The High Noon Saloon

Still standing at midnight on Friday after a long work week and Linsey Alexander’s set at the Harmony, I made it to The High Noon Saloon to catch Steez put down a set of ‘creep funk’. Madison’s favorite jam band has consistently put out ‘get-your-booty-shaking-on-the-dance-floor’ music melding horns, searing guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, electronics, bright lights, mesmerizing grooves and more. The band’s sound has evolved over the years, with Friday night’s performance highlighting their matured yet fresh sound. The band has become a staple on the jam band and summer festival scene and has opened for national acts such as Lotus and at the 10,000 Lakes Festival last year. Catch them the next time.
