The Walkmen – New album on the way and tour

From The Walkmen:

We bring you some exciting news! Next month we’ll be heading to Seattle to start recording our new record with Phil Ek. Phil’s made some great records including the last album by our friends Fleet Foxes, so we couldn’t be happier to get going. We’re hoping to have it to you by next summer.

Finally, in celebration we’re going to do a select number of 10th anniversary bashes in Chicago and San Francisco. Tickets for San Francisco go on sale to the general public November 11th and tickets for Chicago on November 12th. American Express pre-sales start today.
