TORO Y MOI / CLASSIXX – Sun., November 3, 2013 – Barrymore Theatre

I’m really interested in seeing Toro Y Moi (aka Chaz Bundick). Since late May, he’s been on a tour across North America and Europe in support of his third studio album, Anything in Return (released January 2013 on Carpark Records). Check out this beautiful video:

Be sure to catch supporting act Classix. This LA-based electronic production and DJ duo is comprised of Michael David and Tyler Blake, and they will be playing all their instruments live instead of a typical DJ set.

This track and video from their really enjoyable debut LP – Hanging Gardens. – totally reminds me of time recently spent tooling around LA with loved ones, while grooving to the then newly-released Daft Punk LP. (Yes, they were good times!)
