Go see Malkmus and the Jicks!

I have been really enjoying the new Jicks release – Real Emotional Trash. And Fred and I were both pumped up to trek into Milwaukee to see Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks last night at the Pabst Theater.

The second night of the tour – and the show was incredible. Definately one of my all-time top concerts. Malkmus is a very creative guitar player and The Jicks are really excellent. Joanne Bolme on bass even made the point that with Janet Weiss joining her on drums – “Who needs guitars anyway?”

Chicago area friends can still see them tonight (3/21) at the Vic Theater. Do it if you can!
