Boo Bradley
May 17, 2008 at The Farmers Market on a Bench between W. Mifflin St. & W. Washington Ave.
- by David Pulkowski

Take a stroll down Boo Bradley lane at the Dane County Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. “Hard Driven Blues & Smooth Rags” the name of one of their albums is exactly how they play. The wind blows, the crowds find their items, and Boo-Scott Kiker plays his Steel Guitar and Bradley-Brad Seiz raps and rolls his thimbles on his washboard as they play the blues. “Boo” with his steel guitar, resonates the old delta by his fluid plucking and soloing. “Bradley” finds a smooth rhythm on his bench taking you back to the 1940's. The crowd stands and watches; the kids find a way to get their parents to stop, either by tying their
shoes, taking a break on a nearby bench, or playing along with them. Scott and Brad find a way to slow down your walk and get you to remember everybody has room for some blues in their soul. - David Pulkowski
