This weekend starts
with a bang! On November 21st, there
probably isn't a more "buzzworthy" line-up
anywhere in the country than what is on at the Majestic. Five
indie rock bands with Low vs Diamond headlining! If you
have not heard of them yet, this is your chance to catch
a band described by The
Rolling Stones as
"Artist to Watch"...
Co-headlining the show will be LOW
VS. DIAMOND and ROSE HILL DRIVE. LVD has released their
debut album on Epic Records earlier this year and have
recently been seen on Late Night with David Letterman
and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The Zeppelin-esque
power rock trio, ROSE HILL DRIVE, will rock the stage
just prior to LVD. Adding to the "indie buzz factor" will
be Seattle's indie/new wave/pop group BARCELONA, Oxford's
indie rockers COLOUR REVOLT and Nashville's indie/elctro
group PAPER ROUTE.
While never concealing their nods
to current bands ranging from U2 to The
Strokes,… Low vs Diamond are clearly possessed
by those that passed before them.
As a unit, Low vs.
Diamond possess that rare abstract quality that says, “If
you don’t hold on
now, this whole thing may disappear forever,” bassist
Jon concludes. “We’re just a band. All
we want is to be able to get out there and play this
music that we’ve worked so hard on together.
We’re
very happy to have the chance.”
Tickets are only $10 and the show starts
at 8pm.
