The name needs no introduction. Richie
Hawtin. A stalwart of the Detroit techno scene, co-founder
of the Plus8 label (with John Acquaviva)
and the minimalist Minus label. The lad from Windsor, Ontario
(though he is now based in Berlin), with its lights twinkling
and reflecting from across the Detroit river, is a regular
crowd puller at Movement. He did not disappoint loyal fans
and newbies with his set on Day 2 and had the Beatport stage
(and beyond) packed with bouncing, jumping and smiling bodies.

Movement (or DEMF if you prefer it) is
where the party is at each year Memorial Day weekend. A guaranteed
good time for all! The fine folks at Paxahau and so many
others sure do know how to put up a spectacular show. Thank
