Richie Hawtin and the sounds of Detroit (and beyond) at the Mid-Stage was the place to be at on a beautiful Thursday Techno at Summerfest. Richie was the master shaman, spreading a pulsating bliss of layers upon layers of sounds, blips, beeps and bass - his unique blend of minimalist techno. Did I mention the bass? Not to forget the blasts of color, light and fog that seeped into and across the mass of humanity bouncing, twisiting and grooving to the layered beats. Thousands of techno lovers of all ages packed the Potowatomi mid-stage Thursday night to make it a memorable night of techno at Summerfest this year. Be sure not to miss the party the next time!
