Wayne "The Train" is the real deal. He's authentic, and he tours like a madman. Catch him at one his usual haunts in Madison - The Crystal Corner this Thursday for a swinging good time. He's been called "The King of Juke Joint Swing," and we think it's pretty spot on. He's got energy to spare, and he rocks.

One main fact I remember from previous shows is that he doesn't drink ... and the tips of his fingers were pretty much taped on so they wouldn't fall off because he wails so hard on his guitar!  .

Wayne's latest release Viper of Melodies on the Bloodshot Records label (based out of Chicago) has been on my CD player tray the past week and showcases the juke joint swing sound that he is known for.
