Wilco (the album)
Nonesuch Records

Wilco (the album)Have you listened to this yet? ... I like it "a lot." Jeff Tweedy is one of those songwriters whose wordcraft is worth your attention. And Wilco (the band) will handsomely reward your careful listening. But I probably gushed enough about Wilco in my preview for their appearance at 10KLF.

This is a favorite album at the moment and it was hard for me to pick out just a few songs to stream. But I had to choose, so here's a few of my favorites.

If you like 'em, pick this album up at your local record store
or online at wilcoworld.net

"One Wing" is a prototypical Wilco song - building intensity until Nels Cline gos nuts.

"You and I" is an amazing duet with Leslie Feist. Her harmony with Tweedy is gorgeous. A real love song!

I had to go with "I'll FIght" because the music got right into my head from the first listen, and I even woke up with this melody in my head the next morning...

"Everlasting Everything" closes the album.

"Wilco will love you baby" Enjoy! - Mr Bill
