CAVE Returns!

I’m a big fan of CAVE, and am excited to see them returning to Madison to perform at Mickey’s Tavern on Saturday, October 5.

Perhaps you saw them play a hot set on a very hot night at Mickey’s in July 2012, and or last Spring when they opened for Chelsea Light Moving at High Noon Saloon. If so, you know this group can lay down a groove like few others. Their music has been described as “rolling funk minimalism.” I would simply call it hypnotic.

They are about to release their thir LP – Threace – on Drag City label. Check out this cool video…
