Where	UW - Music Hall (map) 925 Bascom Mall Madison, WI, USA 53706 Music Hall, the seventh building constructed on campus and the fifth oldest still standing, is located at the foot of Bascom Hill, across the street from the Humanities Building. It is the home of University Opera productions and the site of several offices and areas for stage construction, costume making, and dressing rooms. The Carol Rennebohm Auditorium, a 380-seat theater renovated in 1985, is one of the most attractive performance halls in the area.
Other Info	San Francisco based noise pop band, Deerhoof are releasing a new EP, will be touring and will play the UW-Madison Music Hall on April 6th, 2013. Make a point to check them out. I have enjoyed Deerhoof ever since I saw them open for Wilco at The Orpheum Theatre back in 2004. The band’s discography has become very diverse and has been described as angular pop, brainy, pleasantly abrasive, eccentric and addicting. Deerhoof have created an identity for themselves that is at the same time, identifiable and impossible classify.
