Other Info | NATTY NATION’s 11th Annual UW Memorial Union Terrace Summer Show CD Release Party of Natty’s 2012 10th Annual UW Terrace Show Saturday, June 15, 2013 9:30 to 11:59 PM (Madison, WI)—Touring bands come and go at the showcase stage on the UW Memorial Union Terrace. But for the last eleven years, Madison’s indigenous hard roots rock reggae stalwarts, NATTY NATION has made their annual summer UW Terrace Show one of their most energetic performances. The UW Memorial Union Terrace is Madison’s premier outdoor summer venue for enjoying live music. Former residents return to Madison and make the Terrace their destination. They remember the Terrace atmosphere of good views, good friends, good food, good beer and great music. While construction has made it more difficult to get there, the effort is worth it. Natty Nation’s two hour twenty minute performance last year was captured by Studio Earth Remote Recording. The band is releasing a high quality two CD 2012 Live UW Terrace Show at this year’s performance on Saturday, June 15th. Fans can literally take the UW Terrace Natty Experience home with them. NATTY NATION is Madison’s most enduring and energetic reggae band. Their infectious beats, soaring vocal mixes, & mind-bending dubs inspire their audiences to leave their Terrace chairs, jump to their feet and dance. Something about their annual summer show on the Terrace brings out the energy in the crowd and it never fails to energize the band, which seems to kick it up a notch for what has become their 11th annual summer Terrace Show. Come hear and feel the magic of these seasoned, road tested local musicians on the Terrace on Saturday, June 15th: -JAH Boogie on bass & lead vocals -Aaron Konkol on keys, backing vocals, & melodica -Olen Franklin on drums -Francisco Martinez on percussion & backing vocals -Louka Patenaude and Richard Hildner on guitar |
