Photos: Deerhoof @ High Noon Saloon – February 16, 2011

San Francisco’s Deerhoof sprinkled their magical mix of garage-indie-pop over the High Noon Saloon last night.  Bassist and lead singer, Satomi Matsuzaki bopped around on stage (even into an empty milk crate) like a mythical creature of folklore as guitarists John Dieterich and Ed Rodriguez tore through cuts from their latest release, Deerhoof vs. Evil.  Drummer Greg Saunier is truly an anomaly and should be witnessed up close. His aggressive drum techniques are reminiscent of the late Keith Moon at times and his brief moments spent pontificating on the mic are priceless. Check out the images below.
