Techno, sweet techno… Dustin Zahn laid down a spectacular set of hard driving beats, rhythms, and effects to give a glimpse of what is to come down in Detroit on Memorial Day weekend. Based out of the Twin Cities, Dustin has been perfecting his dance floor beats for over eleven years and has released material on leading techno labels including Adam Beyer’s Drumcode label and Paco Osuna’s Mindshake Records. Zahn delivered a solid two hour set fittingly described in the playbill  as ‘moody, tribal, dark, hypnotic and packed with energy’. Time passes quick when you are having fun dancing, as was the case Friday night when it was time to go home at 2 a.m. – re-energized for the weekend! We’ll  look forward to seeing him the next time.
