Hacienda w/ El Valiente and Jeremiah Nelson – Thu., January 28, 2010 – High Noon Saloon

I was interested in seeing Hacienda back when they were scheduled to play with Alberta Cross… Unfortunately, Alberta Cross had to cancel this date, but Hacienda still wanted to play.  So True Endeavors arranged for two of my local favorites – El Valiente and Jeremiah Nelson – to fill the breach.  And they dropped the ticket price to $5… How can you afford to miss this show?

Hacienda is a San Antonio-based band, touring in support of their first album, Loud is the Night, which was produced by Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys. He refers to them as, “Mexican-Americans who are obsessed with the Beach Boys” But they like to call it South Texas Soul. This video says it all I think…
