Horsefeathers @ The High Noon Saloon – April 21, 2010

To me, the name Horsefeathers conjures up a picture or more accurately a feeling that is soft, gentle, hazy, and inviting. Perhaps of being outdoors in a field of grass or wheat, lulled by the sound of grass stalks nudging against each other in the gentle breeze. The band Horsefeathers sounds a lot like the picture I just described. A gentle, folksy sound that is dreamy and makes you want to swing on your feet. As I did last night. Wonderfully relaxing music for the middle of the week. Catch them the next time they are in town. Or else, get out there and pick up some of their music. You’ll like it!
