The 47th Annual Orton Park Festival – August 23 – 26, 2012

Madison’s festival season is in full swing!  This weekend brings the Orton Part Festival located at 1200 Spaight St.,on the beautiful east side.  This year, the folks at the Marquette Neighborhood Association have outdone themselves.  They’ve booked a fantastic assortment of artists such as Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars, The Sadies, JD McPherson and The Holmes Brothers, just to name a few.  Click here for a the complete line up and schedule.   Check local MadCity Music Exchange for  CDs and vinyl from almost every artist preforming this weekend.  Cruise by the store if you want to check out a band before they play or need to get an album after being blown away by a great set!
